The finale event is here, with the first two cities unlocked. It appears as if there will be the same set of instructions for everything.

• Get to the above location immediately, and bring a phone that can send and receive calls (does not have to be a Flynn Lives phone).
• Find the TRON sticker and call the phone number printed on its face.
• Stay at the location and wait for further instructions – Flynn Lives will let you know when the mission is complete.
• Only the first person to find and call the phone number will unlock the drop and get the final meet-up instructions.
• Be diligent. Stay safe. And good luck.

I do think it’s a bit of a shame that only the first person at each location gets a prize. Is it really too much to provide smaller consolation prizes for people who take the time to show up for an event in the middle of a work day?

There’s been another drop for the Animism game that players need help recovering. This one appears to be at the Sutton/Mossington Park area of Lake Simcoe, Ontario, Canada.

It’s been noted that there is a strange “No Trespassing” sign located behind the “Iron Clad” signs, so that might be where the drop is actually located. (You have to view the full size image on Twitpic to see the “No Trespassing” sign in the back.)

I don’t know how hard or easy it will be to find this particular location, so if you’re going out, you should definitely consider securing the aid of one of the players in the Animism thread for ground support, or friend @ironcladchad on Twitter. There’s also a toll free number on the Iron Clad signs (1-888-579-4430) that might be useful to call as well.

There appears to be a second library dead drop for the Animism game.

Declan believes we need to check out the book/s in the photo, especially “The Polar Sea Journey”.

This comment from Stephen on Declan’s blog gives us a location to check for the book/s:

I’ve conferred with a few colleagues sir–they’re saying they’re certain the library is the U of T Hart House library!

No one has picked up the Vancouver drop yet, so if you have any Canadian friends in either area, let them know that you need their help.

One of the rewards for successfully completing the Zero Hour Challenge of February 24th was the unlocking of a new website: Pit Cell.

Pit Cell has information on what is being called an “Exclusive Limited Event” being held at 5 different IMAX Theaters this weekend.

Current speculation is that this is going to be either a new trailer for Tron Legacy or perhaps an extended scene from the movie. Either way it should be fun if you live in one of the lucky cities and manage to snag a ticket. Make sure you pre-register on Flynn Lives well before the ticket release so that you don’t waste valuable time trying to secure tickets that are sure to go fast.

Over on the Flynn Lives website, there is a countdown that will hit zero on February 24th at 11am EST. Below the countdown there is a slowly revealing list of city names. Current speculation is that things will be happening in those cities when the countdown hits zero, but it’s far too early to tell at this point in time. If you live in or near one of those cities, keep the countdown page or back here for updates within the next 5 days.

 

Update: So the image has completely resolved and all of the cities have been revealed. The original list posted was pretty close to what it finished up to be (the two switches were Detroit -> Denver and Indianapolis -> Minneapolis). We still don’t know what is going to be going on in those cities or exactly where things will be happening, but hopefully an update is on its way so those people who are contemplating taking off work will know if they should or not.
