If this is going to be anything like what Corruption Theory first reported, this is probably just a dead drop to provide a data exchange. CT received a bag with a cell phone that contained his encrypted document, but who knows what will be at this meet.

And remember, CT believes that there may be multiple people on the “guest list” so you shouldn’t have to worry about showing up a little late. Then again, after the large turnout to the Something in the Sea event, you might want to consider going earlier rather than later if you really want something.

Also, don’t forget that there should be a second round of information coming out on the gas station tv screens Monday from 8am-noon and Tuesday from 3-6pm. That should give us another location (I’m guessing another comic store) for a pickup on Wednesday.

Update: We have reports that at least four people went to the location where they met a woman handing out manila envelopes that contained a cellphone, a thumb drive and building plans. The players are supposed to keep the cell phone charged and not use it for personal reasons, so it’s a safe bet that they’ll be getting a call in the future regarding Project Naaczaal.

This is the last set of drops for the Frenzied Waters promotion. You can follow @FrenziedWaters on Twitter to keep track of the status of the drops. They’ve been pretty good at replying if you are on your way out to a drop and want to make sure it’s there. If this is like the previous sets of drops, the capsules will be in some sort of shop near the coordinates.

Frenzied Waters, the new promotional game for Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, has released 11 news capsules into the wild, according to their website at FrenziedWaters.com and their Twitter account @FrenziedWaters. The capsules are believed to hold artifacts from different tragic events regarding sharks.

Update: It seems as if there will be a total of three different drops in these cities. One last week, one today and one next week (July 20th). So the earlier tweets from @FrenziedWaters saying that the capsules in certain cities have been found do not apply to the second group. Wish that had been made clearer. Also wish there was a mute button on the main page. And I still want to know what it wanted me to sign into Facebook for. I authorized it, but all I get is the loading twirl and nothing more.

The hidden capsules should be similar to the one already pictured on Frenzied Water’s Flickr page. Other than that, there has been no specific information on what to expect at these coordinates. The capsules have been located inside businesses. At least two have been inside dive shops, but a third was found within a boutique shop, so they really could be at any business in the area, so make sure you ask around.

Skynet Research is going to be airing their new infomercial on FOX affiliates later this week. Despite the fact that you can already see it on their Vimeo page, the Resistance site Resist or Be Terminated believes that something new might be hidden in the broadcast versions.

So if you live in NYC or LA, fire up your DVR and record the infomercial and see if there is anything puzzley to be found.

Velicorp.com is recruiting new applicants via an aptitude test on its website. After filling answering all the question, you are shown what part of the Velicorp company you would be most ideal for and then given a chance to submit your name for an in-person interview, either in NYC or Los Angeles.

10 players from each city will be randomly selected for an in-person interview, which will be a 20 minute limousine ride. During the ride, the player will be asked questions by an interviewer and filmed for possible inclusion in the Xi game. Or so says the Official Rules.

So if you are in NYC or LA and fancy taking a limo ride and answering some questions, enter the contest and cross your fingers that you’re one of the lucky ones selected. You never know, it could happen.

New sets of GPS Missions have gone up for the Intimation game. So far, only the Central Park mission has been completely successful in gathering all the URLs needed to unlock new game content.

In order to complete GPS missions, you need a phone with an internal GPS device or an external GPS device (Bluetooth “GPS mouse”). Nokia Symbian or Windows Mobile PPC works best. Register at GPS Mobile, download the software onto your phone, and then head out to the mission sites.

Each checkpoint you arrive at reveals a message that has a web address (Checkpoint x/n . http://thewaytheirworldended.com/…’) The address is only shown once, so be ready to copy it down so you won’t forget. Visiting the website unlocks a piece for the game.

Geoff Greatbatch sent a high resolution photo that contained Romulan characters written on a board. When translated into numbers, four sets of coordinates are revealed that point to locations near City Halls:

As to what is going to be at each of these coordinates, or even when people should go look, is unknown at this point in time. It seems to be related to the previous breadcrumbs given by PHPChatUser5, despite the fact that Madrid is not in the list.
