The players of Animism: The Sacred Sites have discovered a dead drop that was hinted at a character’s blog:

There is faint text at the bottom right that says:
“Remember our deal…
VPL
BUS 333.38 F86m
HB”
I believe “VPL” is Vancouver Public Library, “BUS” is the business section, and 333.38 F86m is a call out number for a book.

<del datetime="2010-09-08T19:23:02+00:00">Note: The VPL catalog is undergoing maintenance until 11am EDT so I am unable to get specific information about the book at this time. I’ll update with more information after the catalog is back online.</del>

Update: It figures that the one time I will ever need to use the VPL card catalog, it ends up being down most of the day. The book is Model subdivision regulations : text and commentary by Robert H. Freilich and Peter S. Levi.

UF member Shizzire has contacted the library, was told that there is a note inside the book, and currently has it on hold at the counter. You can send them a PM on Unfiction to get instructions on how to get the book/note (or maybe just be really nice to the librarian and ask them just to let you see the note).

Game: Love Letters to the Future
Type: Info Drop
Location: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Washington DC, Buenos Aires, Cork, Toronto, Kinderdijk, Beijing, Cankurtaran, Sao Paulo
Date: Placed before December 10, 2009
Status: Concluded

Maya, from 100 years in the future, seems to have found some friends in our time to leave a series of symbols scattered around the globe. Based on the one report so far, this will lead to a phone number for you to call that will play another message to us from Maya. The message should in turn provide a clue that will unlock one of six parts of the final video on Love Letters to the Future (keyword: Maya2109).

Part 1: <del datetime="2009-12-12T16:10:11+00:00">Stockholm</del> & Buenos Aires – UNLOCKED
Part 2: <del datetime="2009-12-15T18:45:20+00:00">Hong Kong</del> & Cork – UNLOCKED
Part 3: Mumbai & <del datetime="2009-12-12T16:10:11+00:00">Toronto</del>
Part 4: Amsterdam & Sao Paulo
Part 5: <del datetime="2009-12-14T15:50:49+00:00">Washington, DC</del> & Cankurtaran
Part 6: Copenhagen, <del datetime="2009-12-14T21:16:14+00:00">Kinderdijk</del>, & Beijing

Based upon the wording of the clues, most of these locations will have something for you to find in real life. However, for Kinderdijk, Beijing, Cankurtaran, and Sao Paulo, it appears that you will need an Android phone with the Layar application in order to see the clue.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands: 52° 22′ 20.64″ N 4° 52′ 33.54″ E

New sets of GPS Missions have gone up for the Intimation game. So far, only the Central Park mission has been completely successful in gathering all the URLs needed to unlock new game content.

In order to complete GPS missions, you need a phone with an internal GPS device or an external GPS device (Bluetooth “GPS mouse”). Nokia Symbian or Windows Mobile PPC works best. Register at GPS Mobile, download the software onto your phone, and then head out to the mission sites.

Each checkpoint you arrive at reveals a message that has a web address (Checkpoint x/n . http://thewaytheirworldended.com/…’) The address is only shown once, so be ready to copy it down so you won’t forget. Visiting the website unlocks a piece for the game.

Thanks to @drizjr for the tip.

Update: Hollywood and Los Angeles missions completed by @krystyn. St. Louis completed by Nyst. London completed by DaiMudda.

There is now an easily readable list of which missions are completed and which are not: http://thewaytheirworldended.com/A-WHOLE-BUNCH/

Players received a PDF that had the following coordinates hidden it: 49°17’25.58″ and 123°1’44.85″. They then determined that it was 49°17’25.58″ N, 123°1’44.85″ W in Vancouver, BC which is near some train tracks.
