The serial killer f8 left another video blog at the Sleep Superbly site that players believe point to him leaving a clue in a Philadelphia Classifieds section.

f8: Uhm, not really. I’ve been a little behind, but, I picked up a local newspaper this morning so I am starting to catch up. There are some crazy, crazy people out there. Even the classifieds seemed bizarre.

At the end of the video, you can see that he’s wearing a Philadelphia t-shirt which is why players are concentrating on that city. On the Serial Huntress forums, players have said that they have looked through online editions of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Craigslist, but have not found anything of real interest so far. They’re hoping that someone with physical access to a newspaper might have more luck.

In order to pull off their current heist, Anna and Lewis need to contact a black market operative by the name of Orson. Because Orson doesn’t wish to have his identity known, he is leaving us a message in the July 16th edition of the LA Times.

Maya, from 100 years in the future, seems to have found some friends in our time to leave a series of symbols scattered around the globe. Based on the one report so far, this will lead to a phone number for you to call that will play another message to us from Maya. The message should in turn provide a clue that will unlock one of six parts of the final video on Love Letters to the Future (keyword: Maya2109).

Okay, here’s the deal. We have two more dead drops based upon the new book tour dates posted at the Farewell Atlantis Facebook page. We know the cities and the dates, but not the actual location. In order to get that, we need at least one person to check out one of the 800+ gas stations during the info drop periods, get the address, and then share it with the group.

It should be noted that Soren Ulfert has totally slacked off on alerting us to when the info drops are occurring. By my calculations, there should be an info drop today, but there has been no mention of it. Soren has also changed the time of the drops the last few times so that there is only a morning session (8a – 12p) instead of an afternoon session as well. Of course, since he hasn’t told us anything lately, this could have changed again. But I have to imagine someone somewhere is in a position where they could just swing by one of the locations without it being too far out of their way.

Update: Soren actually gave a blog update with the dates and times. He’s gone back to the original schedule of 8a-noon two days before the drop and 3-6pm one day before the drop. So to recap:

October 27: 3p – 6p

Information on Philadelphia dead drop:
October 28: 8a – 12p
October 29: 3p – 6p

Anyone with access to one of the 800+ gas stations can retrieve this information.

So, if you live in one of the 15 metro areas listed above, find a gas station near you from the list, swing by today or tomorrow AND Wednesday or Thursday, grab the info and let me know about it. Easiest thing in the world, right?
